Just wanted to tell you that Scott and I had the best time. Your guys Brad and Pom are fantastic. Our whole experience was awesome. The guys were fun, the jump is undescribable and the video, well we might wear it out since we keep replaying it. Thanks Brad, Thanks Pom. You guys are great.

Thanks guys, my partner and I had the best experience thanks for taking such good care of us. I want to “tell the people” it is a serious “must do” adventure. If you dont, you will be doing the “self” a total injustice! you are not alive until you do this, nothing else exists at that point of free fall. I felt so comfortable up there, we are sooooo lucky. It was just like flying in my dreams only better of course. we will be back, with extras, IF YOU THINK YOUVE GOT NOTHING TO LIVE FOR…..GO SKY DIVING! Wouldnt be dead for quids.

The bell never sounded so sweet as it did on September 21st 2008 , on a gorgeous little beach just north of Coffs Harbour (Charlesworth Bay) Steve And Tan became Hilly’s. With their future Australian 4-way team (Kids) Xavia, Jack, Charlotte and Jacob at their sides ,this was to be the start of another awesomely connected true skydiving family.

The wedding was opened with an Australian Flag jump (Tony Maurer ,CI) followed by a literally smokin 4 way and ocean swoop (Pom with the Rings, Milton, Throb and the old dog Rainey).

The bride looked sensational as she walked down from the resort onto the sandy Isle (to the vibes I’m Yours, Jason Mraz) accompanied by her Dad Greg (who willingly gave his daughter away to a BUWA, let alone a Skydiver?? ) a really great guy & Father In-Law. The Bridesmaids and flower girl Charlotte were in tow also looking stunning.

With 30knots blowin the previous day and solid rain for the next few, a bullet had been dodged by the about to be newlyweds. Once again Coffs tropical weather turned it on with an array of storm clouds followed by a dozen droplets of rain into a steamy (No not resort room dirt dive yet) sunny blue skies day into awesome sunset through more storm clouds, an amazing evening light and sound show from the heavens and a ½ hr 4am absolute piss down.

The wedding photographer (Dave the click Moore) could not believe his luck, the back drops were to make for some pretty sexy shots. The ceremony was beautiful and interactive, (u know what skydivers get up to when they think they r not a part of it)!! A big connected circle of about 110 was made for the finale and the B & G walked through their circle of friends to close the ceremony.

It was then pic time at the beach before, you didn’t did you? Stepping “AIRSIDE” at Coffs Harbours Massive Regional thriving security risk airfield, for some really cool wedding photos!! We did, shock horror, pics on the runway and taxiways supported by an ASIC wielding 1000 strong armed security secret service MIB’s anti terrorist swat team. (Jokes, thanks to Coffs ATC and solo security dude Boris for helping set this up, the shots turned out awesome.)

Coffs City Skydivers aircraft hanger played host to the coolest hanger party / wedding reception venue ever. TXI was up in lights, the storm clouds were perfectly positioned, the old hanger with newly painted floor was decked out to the nines with Coastal Soul (band for the Afterlife boogie) rockin on and the party still crackin at 5pm the next day (again skydivers at play).

The Bride and Groom wondered off bout 4am to the honeymoon suite (Pacific Bay Resort) for some —you’ll never know, accompanied by their minders, Louie and Mario (who were on the bus behind the wedding car) but all this, was not before WAIT for it, the bride paid tribute to the Groom and Groomsman in her speech with this Quote “ The guys looked HOT!!” Not to mention our spunky little grooms boys Xavia, Jack and Jacob.

Hilly and Tan wish to thank all their jumpin buddies, families and friends who really put in to make this the most memorable night ever, that we can’t remember!!

Nah really the memories will stay with us forever, thankyou

Food and Wine Festival Coffs Harbour

Sunday 9th November the Display Team @ Coffs City Skydivers lobbed into the Food and Wine festival. It was a real shitty day and we did not know if it was going to be a goer till 10 mins out. Cloud at 1000 – 1500 had been looming most of the day with the odd break to 3000. We got the green light from Coffs Tower and cranked the old 182 up, filled her with daredevils and climbed to a neat 2500’ only to find out on jump run a big grey fluffy had come in right over the landing area. A decision was made to go round and get beneath the cloud which left us at 2000. Unfortunately our planned 5 way freefall and star burst was not to be, although the back drop for the spectators was brilliant and the visuals of the canopies opening was awesome from the ground. There were some really cool swoop landings over Coffs Creek and the demo was again a huge success.

Dragon Boat Races (survivors of breast cancer) 26/10/2008

Our display team was at it again in late October donating our skydiving services to help raise money for charity. This time we were in Grafton, a little community slightly inland on the awesome Clarence river just 50 mins from Coffs. Pom, Tan, Hilly and Throbba performed a gaggle with smoke after a star burst much to the crowds delight. The organisers were wrapped with the demo and asked us if we would be able to make it an annual display. Gifting communities with skydiving displays really helps raise awareness of our sport. Hopefully there will be another 10-20 thousand brains out there thinking, maybe i should do a jump or at least creating the RIGHT pictures of skydiving in their minds as from now!!

Again thanks to our awesome team , including Jordi (pilot) and Sanchez (packer) for their professionalism and time.
