What an awesome day…best club day yet!!
Coffs City Skydiver’s Club Day 31st January
Back on track with the club…heaps of fun…all play no work.
Joel started the day with push ups and finished the day with push ups.
Mitch, Throb, Tony V, Bob, Tony C, Pom, Jordi, Tan, Steve, Chez, Robbo, Joel, Splinta, Rainey, Scott (nearly) & Chris all had their knees in their breeze
6am sunrise load onto Sawtell beach -perfect conditions. Chez kept poised. Chris picked us up on the beach… couldn’t have felt better…we were pumped!!
16 loads- tracks, Atmonautis, wing suits, 4 & 5 ways, great footage**
Swapped the door handle from TXI to TIS- Joel broke the handle-got the blame anyway… unlucky one at the time!!

Tony and Robbo from Port came up for a few loads. Thanks guys for coming up… we really enjoyed your company.
Bob, Robbo, Tony C, Tony V and Pom did a 5 way. Got A point, funnelled for a star.
Ben back for another Tandem from 14 k- gotta do the AFF course!!
Pom got the bootie ripped off his wing suit- hung up…not happy about that, nor was Steve cause he was wanting to jump it!

Great to see Splinta back and well!! Trying to find Splinta a wing suit may not be that easy
Steve fell off 4 way exit stack…keep the brakes on Jordi. Mitch, Tan, Steve and Joel…what a recovery from the funkiest ever exit. Mitch head down and says everyone was upside down but him. This was a memorable jump….watched the footage over and over for a laugh.
All on DZ landings-great spots…fantastic weather conditions… great to be up high and cool on such a hot day. 12 k -got some serious continual altitude & most style masters got 8 jumps
Chris got in 2 jumps-didn’t pack once…lucky bastard. Learnt a hard lesson with a cracker of an opening. Saw stars after deploying mid somersault.
Everyone is getting into the sits …funky free flys happening!!
Chez cried on a track after pulling out all the foam from his goggles. Didn’t stop him from doing an awesome track-right in there and stable as (Congrats to Chez for such huge progress in such a short time…all rounder)
Floatation devices bought by Club members-Tan, Steve, Throb, Wookie, Rainey, Splinta, Chez, Mitch, Joel, Tony & Pom. These guys have bought the packs together to share…so that means more beach landings for us!!
Jordi got a jump amongst his 14 loads… thanks a heap for keeping up the pace all day Jordi. And Thanks to Tony for flying 2 loads
Scott got pimped at the post…18 knots…all suited and ready to go. Congrats Scott for finishing your AFF.
Danny and Jake buddied up like best friends!
Steve’s 3800th jump- track from 13 k with Tan, Joel, Mitch and Chez-Arrow head & loved it.!
Sunset loads at 7pm onto Jetty Beach…with a few beers.
Pom’s swan dive into the Harbour was a highlight-managed to swoop the beach just in time to reach the sand and fall…all gear wet but worth it. Just gotta do It!
Hoppies onto Jetty Beach- great sunset shots. Pom and Throb did very cool Crew work for Throb’s 400th jump! Congrats Throb… only 100 to go till you can strap em on.
Chez finally does a layout and played a few chilled tunes whilst the sun faded and disappeared…everyone joined in with their own verse…all very cool fun…great way to wind down from an absolute ripper of a day.
Back to DZ for footage entertainment and laughs over Chinese, pizza and beers. Exhausted…all in bed by 10.30 -what a huge blast!!
We are going to keep these Club Days rolling. So look forward to next Club Day in March…yeehaa!!
